Last updated: April 2026. These terms will be updated after business registration is finalised.
CivicAssist (DE) is an independent private service. It is not a government authority and is not
affiliated with any German public institution. Use of this service does not replace official
government processes or legal advice.
1. What you are purchasing
When you pay for a CivicAssist (DE) service, you are purchasing one or more of the following:
- Document preparation assistance — a guided questionnaire that collects your
data and generates a filled PDF example showing how to complete a German administrative form.
- A generated PDF for personal use — the PDF is provided for checking,
preparation, and personal reference only. It is not an official document.
- Appointment monitoring notifications — automated scanning of official Bürgeramt
booking systems and instant notifications via Telegram when a slot becomes available.
2. Your responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- The accuracy and completeness of all data you provide when using the service.
- Verifying that the information in any generated PDF matches your actual documents before
using it as a reference.
- Obtaining the official form from the relevant government website and submitting it correctly
through the proper official channels.
- Acting promptly when you receive a Termin notification — appointment slots may fill within
seconds of appearing.
3. Generated PDFs are not official documents
Documents generated by CivicAssist (DE) are preparation examples only.
- They are not official government documents and cannot be submitted to any authority as-is.
- They do not carry legal force or official status.
- CivicAssist (DE) does not guarantee that any authority will accept a submission based on our
example.
- Always use the current official form from the relevant government website
(e.g. berlin.de,
bamf.de).
4. No legal advice
CivicAssist (DE) does not provide legal advice, immigration advice, or tax advice.
If you need professional guidance, please consult a qualified lawyer, Rechtsanwalt,
Steuerberater, or accredited migration counsellor.
5. Termin monitoring — limitations
The Termin monitoring service scans official booking systems and notifies you when a slot
appears. By activating this service, you acknowledge that:
- CivicAssist (DE) does not guarantee that an appointment will become available during your
monitoring period.
- CivicAssist (DE) does not guarantee that you will successfully book a slot after receiving
a notification. Slots are first-come, first-served and may fill instantly.
- Monitoring checks are performed automatically — we cannot manually intervene in booking
systems or reserve slots on your behalf.
- The availability of monitoring for a given city or service type may change without notice
due to changes in official booking systems.
6. Service availability and changes
We aim to provide CivicAssist (DE) continuously, but we may:
- Update, improve, or modify the service at any time.
- Temporarily suspend the service for maintenance.
- Discontinue support for specific document types or cities with reasonable notice.
We will update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use of the service after updates
constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
7. Payment
Payments are processed securely by our payment provider (Stripe). CivicAssist (DE) does not
store your full card details. By completing a payment, you agree to our
Refund Policy.
